Nursery on the Green go GREEN!!!

The children at Nursery on the Green and Preschool in Frimley participated in our very first Green Day on Wednesday 1^st February.

In the lead up to this day the children and their families were invited to bring in any unwanted clothing, shoes and material into the nursery so that the children and the practitioners could take it to the local recycling bank.

On the day we were very lucky to have many bags filled with clothing all the children were then given a small bag to carry to the recycling bank.

The children were able to identify some of the other recycling bins, books and shoes; we will look at collecting these items for another walk.

The children also participated in many other activities from making creations out of junk modelling materials, dressing up in green clothing and playing with green messy play.
