Weekly cookery classes begin.........

On Tuesday 31^st January 2012 the children in Badgers took part in their very first cookery class.

The children chose to make fairy cakes.

The children began by putting on their chefs aprons and hats this caused quite a lot of giggles amongst the children. The children went and washed their hands ready to begin.

The children chatted freely to the practitioner about how they make cakes at home. They identified

the ingredients that were needed and could even recall what ingredients were required first.

Mia – “I can do the eggs I do that at home when me and mummy make cakes! I don’t use that we have a machine at home to make cakes it mixes them!” “Don’t eat it yet, it’s not cakes yet we need to cook them!”
